Twins on Thomas and Friends

Thomas and Friends has its share of twins. Bill and Ben are one set of twins on the Island of Sodor. Bill and Ben are mischievous engines. They are identical twins are based on the low-slung 0-4-0 Saddle-tank engine by the W.G. Bagnall. W.G.Bagnall created two these Engines that were named Judy and Alfred.

Another pair of twins on the Island of Sodor is Donald and Douglas. Donald and Douglas and identical twin Engines and are seen in many of the episodes of Thomas and Friends. They were there to help Thomas when he crashed into the station master’s home. They were there to pull to Thomas out of the wreckage. Donald and Douglas are based on engines from 812 class engines in the Caledonian Railway.
