When we first were introduced to Arthur we learned that he had a spotless record t and liked to obey the rules while still being a great friend. Thomas thought it was be fun to play a practical joke on Arthur by getting him to keep the fruit cars that he was transporting to market from singing. The whole thing resulted in Arthur get crushed fruit all over him. Thomas took responsibility for his part in playing a trick on Arthur and then helped to clean up the mess. Thomas and Arthur continued to be good friends.
