Harold was one of the first transportation vehicles that was not a train, or coach on the Island of Sodor. Harold the Helicopter was sometimes met with apprehension. Some of the engines did not know what to make of this flying thing. Harold proved to be a good friend in many instances. Working with the engines he has been able to show that he is a very helicopter both working as part of a team or only alone.
